Every day as I walk down from the house to the office, I marvel at the visual harmony of an olive tree growing inside the branching boughs of a Eucalypt on the edge of the driveway. Be it a passionate love affair, a deep friendship or a polite acquaintance, they are an unlikely pairing, the two species having originated on opposite sides of the planet.
