2014 Ess&see Sangiovese Rosé

Continue Reading Picked from a local vineyard in McLaren Vale, two tonnes of Sangiovese grapes were fermented slowly in cold temperatures until not a dash of sugar remained. This unconventional method has resulted in a crisp, dry, spicy, summery rose. Our friend and local artist, Charlie Roberts painted the artwork for the label in his “trains” phase. Pairs perfectly with strips of grilled haloumi, a squeeze of lemon and the spicy smell of eucalypts on a balmy, golden-lit evening.
