“I would rather be at home with a good book and a green apple” Pat Reeves

I have been pairing Alison’s latest cheese samples with all sorts of treats. The best part of having an up and coming creamery on site is the inadvertent promotion to “Taste Tester”…such a tough job! Yesterday, I sliced a crisp green apple into wafers, topped them with slathers of the delicious Funky Sheep and was transported into memories of my beautiful Mum when she would be lamenting the idea of a night out…and wish out loud, to be ensconced cozily at home with “a good book and a green apple”.
