Last year I attended a Bali retreat hosted by the beautiful Clare Bowditch, Pip Lincoln, Jesse Neave and Defah Dattner of Big Hearted Business. Surrounded by 24 astonishingly talented women, an incredible week unfurled; full of soul sharing, raw honesty, heartfelt support and open communication. I arrived in an aimless state, frustrated with my procrastination to go back to work now that my kids are all at school. I left Bali fully recharged, with a clearly drawn up, fully formed, mostly unexpected, picture of everything I wanted to achieve at work. Nurtured, encouraged and heard by the retreat peeps, I wrote my own, albeit small and slightly quirky, job description and Just A Thimble was born.

“Just a Thimble” is a conversation about paying kindness forward, supporting creative people, sending treats, noticing every day beauty, addressing environmental issues, celebrating nature, growing our positivity footprint and reaching out and saying hello to others sharing a similar journey.
